Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. She also took her bronze on balance beam. She became the only American to be awarded many Olympic medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team competitions. Additionally, she won silver in individual all around as well as for floor exercise. Between the two Olympics she took an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly works with The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her grandmother. She plans to pursue an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is the expansion of her signature line of leotards. Fierce will be published later this summer.
